With my experience playing piano for 17 years, participating in concerts performing solo musical pieces, performing a wide variety of genre at over 300 gigs in a successful function band and equipped with an unequivocal fascination of this historic instrument, my comprehensive understanding of this art will enable me to create an individual plan specialized to your needs.

Our priority is to make sure that you are ‘set-up for success’, embracing fundamental skills that will guide you from a beginner all the way up to a professional level and beyond.
Scales – I tell my students to visualize musical scales as the many beautiful languages of the world and the notes we play within those scales to be the words. Mastering musical scales enables faster and fluent playing styles along with greater opportunities in composition and improvisation.
Reading music – A skill that looks trickier to comprehend than it is, so don´t fret. With some time and a few helpful anagrams from me, you´ll be able to start reading music in the first session.
Harmonic development – Being able to breakdown and analyze musical pieces in order to enable us to further develop our own ideas and apply it into our own work.

Achieving grades can offer curricular structure, but most importantly they provide a worldwide recognised acknowledgment of one's abilities with an instrument. Within some career paths and university requirements, a certain level of grade certificate may be required. Grades 6, 7 and 8 will offer points toward UCAS applications. If you desire to obtain grades, I would love to assist you in your journey.

CLASSICAL - Learn to play in a classical style. The classical style is one that accentuates finesse and it’s pieces are often arranged for a solo performance. This piano style is great for those who wish to play the music from their favorite video games, film scores or any of the classical works by composers such as Frédéric Chopin or Sebastian Bach and more.
ROCK & POP - Learn to play in a rock & pop style. The rock and pop style caters more toward the practical application of playing as an ensemble (with other musicians). This piano style is great for those who wish to play in a contemporary band, have aspirations in contemporary songwriting or just want to learn how to play some good rock & pop hits on the piano.
